Hi. I am new here. I have a 14 yr old daughter with dyscalculia and dysgraphia. She has been homeschooled all her life. She is on grade level or above in every subject but math and spelling. I was curious if anyone else is homeschooling a child with dyscalculia and if so what curriculum they are using for math.

I have used Math-U-See (www.mathusee.com) . Last year was a terrific year. She understood multiplication and division. With a calculator she could do any word problem I came up with. This year it's all gone. Losing concepts she previously had is not a new thing. I am considering going back to the primary level of Math-U-See and starting again. I thought I would also work on math for daily living. How to use the calculator and anything I thought I could show her that she would need to live on her own as an adult.

Thanks for any help you can give.

There's a yahoo group about math and homeschooling... Argh, can't find it anymore. Lost all my dyscalculia bookmarks a while ago... 1000+ links I've been saving for years. But maybe you can do a search.
