Hi leejk,
I'm not tech savvy either, but dyscalculiaforum is on Facebook. I'm not sure if this is what you're meaning, but here's a link to our front page, where it 'says this'. ;) - jus'

Facebook doesn't meet up with the safety and privacy standards we have here at The Dyscalculia Forum, so you can't use your facebook account to post here at the forum.
You can however become a 'fan' or 'like' The Dyscalculia Forum - we're at http://www.facebo...yscalculia

Thanks (you too Jus) for the info. I think I figured out how to do it the other day...at least I found the Dyscalculia Facebook page. I'm still trying to figure Facebook out.

I actually found the DyscalculiaForum on Facebook before I found the actual forum here. Quite honestly, I'd like to say I'm glad that this site doesn't allow you to automatically sign in using Facebook. The sites that do that honesty freak me out a little bit.
I'm NOT lost, I'm just taking the scenic rout! |

Dear Squeakymonster,
I couldn't agree more. There was a case (that I read about on the news) where a person found out that he was 'enrolled' on a website that heralded opinions and values diametrically opposed to his own. How did that happen? Well, there had been a way that this website could enroll the 'friends' of anyone who accepted them as a 'friend'. What a surprise to see his name there as an 'advocate' of things that he would never 'advocate'! I have an extremely limited presence on Facebook, and not under my real name. - jus' |
